What is CALMARE Pain Therapy?

CALMARE is an FDA-cleared device for the treatment of chronic neuropathic pain. This technology uses a biophysical rather than a biochemical or drug approach to treating chronic pain. CALMARE transmits “non-pan” information to the brain via surface electrodes. This is a central approach to treating chronic pain. This is a different and innovative approach to treating chronic pain compared to traditional peripheral approaches, which seek to target peripheral joints and tissues with medications, injections, and other therapies including TENS. These approaches have been shown to be largely ineffective at treating and resolving chronic pain. There are no knows side effects to CALMARE Pain Therapy.
