What is Electrodiagnostic Testing?

Electrodiagnostic testing is the gold standard test for measuring the health of your nerves and muscles. It is comprised of electromyography (EMG) and peripheral nerve conduction studies. Electrodiagnostic findings provide information about the function of your nerves and muscles, as opposed to just structural findings with imaging.
